Cookie policy

1. What they are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. There are similar technologies, such as the browser’s local or session storage; here we call all of them “cookies”.
2. How you choose
The first time you visit, we show you a notice with three buttons: “Accept”, “Reject” and “Settings”. Until you choose, only the necessary ones work. You can change your choice at any time in Cookie settings, also at the bottom of every page. We keep your choice for 12 months; then we ask you again.
3. Which cookies we use
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
txk_consent | Txakolina (local storage) | Store your cookie choice. | 12 months | Necessary |
txk_provenienza | Txakolina (session storage) | Remember the landing page and the ad or link you came from, to store it with the booking. | Until you close the tab | Technical |
txk15-visto | Txakolina (session storage) | Avoid showing the promotion notice again. | Until you close the tab | Technical |
__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Stripe | Prevent fraud when the booking asks for a card guarantee. | 1 year / 30 minutes | Necessary |
_ga, _ga_* | Tell visits apart to measure how the website is used. | 2 years | Analytics, with consent | |
_gcl_au, _gcl_aw | Know which ad brought a booking. | 90 days | Advertising, with consent | |
NID | Set by Google when the map is shown. | Set by Google (up to 6 months) | Maps, with consent or when you tap “Show the map” |
4. If you reject them
We use Google’s consent mode. If you reject analytics or advertising, Google tags do not store or read cookies in your browser, but they may send signals without cookies or identifiers (for example, that a page was viewed or a booking was made), which Google uses in aggregate to estimate results.
5. From your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary ones, booking may not work properly.
6. More information
How we handle your data: privacy policy. How Google uses data from sites that use its services: policies.google.com.
