Txakoli (or txakolina) is a white wine from the Basque Country: young, light, with crisp acidity and a natural touch of gentle fizz that makes it sparkling and wonderfully easy to drink.
It's traditionally poured from a height, splashing into the glass, to wake up that natural fizz and bring out its aromas. It's the quintessential Basque aperitif and the perfect companion to pintxos.
Ameztoi is a family winery with several generations of history, in Getaria, the birthplace of txakoli, within the Getariako Txakolina designation of origin.
